Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is not your typical aquarium. It's a total sensory experience designed to transport visitors to an undersea ocean of fantastic sights, sounds and encounters. Featuring dangerous and unusual aquatic animals from the world's tropical waters, Shark Reef Aquarium takes visitors on a journey through an ancient temple slowly being claimed by the sea.

Fourteen breathtaking exhibits are devoted to dangerous aquatic predators. The largest exhibit is the 1.3 million gallon shipwreck where visitors experience an almost 360-degree view, teeming with sharks and fish, through an acrylic tunnel. The Touch Pool is a popular attraction, where guests can touch an ever-changing collection of animals including sharks, rays or horseshoe crabs. More than 2,000 animals are displayed at Shark Reef Aquarium, over 100 different species and featuring 15 species of sharks.

Helldorado Days

Helldorado Days which began in 1935, is the longest running civic event in the history of Las Vegas. With over 45,000 people in attendance, Helldorado Days is a 4 day event offering an opening night locals rodeo and 3 days of PRCA professional rodeo, a parade, carnival, Sahara Coins Helldorado Days $10,000 treasure hunt for gold, whiskerino contest, golf tournament, poker tournament, art show and auction, trail ride, exhibits and food. Just 2 blocks from the Fremont Street Experience, downtown is transformed into Helldorado Days. Helldorado Days is a non-profit community event, managed by 1 paid staff member and hundreds of volunteers.

Helldorado Days is an outdoor community event celebrating Las Vegas’s tribute to the Wild West. The local event is produced by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No.1468 and the purpose is to produce a great show for fans and give the proceeds back to the local community through children’s and veterans charities. Due to the success of Las Vegas Helldorado Days last May, the members of Elks Lodge No. 1468 have given back over $75,000 in 2009 and over $4 million to the community since 1935.

As a pilot and prospector, Mitch Williams, the son of Moab, Utah’s first doctor, was considered one of the few experts in the pristine labyrinth of spectacular canyons that later came to be designated as Canyonlands National Park. At Redtail Aviation, We are proud to specialize in scenic flight tours and charter flights. Since 1978 we have safely flown air tours in southeastern utah and charters throughout the western US. Construction of the Colorado River Bridge is advancing on the 1,060 foot twin-rib concrete arch. The Colorado River Bridge is the central portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project. Construction on the nearly 2,000 foot long bridge began in late January 2005 and the completion of the entire Hoover Dam Bypass Project is expected in Late 2010. When completed, this signature bridge will span the Black Canyon (about 1,500 feet south of the Hoover Dam), connecting the Arizona and Nevada Approach highways nearly 900-feet above the Colorado River.

Dolphin Habitat

This 2.5-million-gallon Dolphin Habitat is home to a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Its purpose is to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for dolphins, as well as to educate the public about marine mammals and their environment - including their role in the ecosystem.

Four connected pools, an artificial coral reef system and sandy bottom replicate the dolphins' natural environment. Most of the dolphins were born here; the remaining few were relocated from other facilities.
